Goodkind does place the value of one’s own life at the center of his moral framework as its goodkimd cause but, he goes beyond this to create a moral system that allows one to confwssor, even one’s very life, for principles beyond those of direct self-interest. I was a new father & very young when I first started his books and they completely changed my life, how I viewed the world & most importantly, others. I’m a huge fan of Terry Goodkind and the Sword of Truth series. Terry's books taught me about honor, respect, determination, Perseverance, love & kindness at a time in my life that I was living very inwardly & I was an asshole.
